GT2 Chassis Modifications
Removed steel floors replaced with 1/8" aluminum driver side 6061 also helped clean up aero under car
Removed unnecessary steel left in from factory
Front horns are bolt on and made of aluminum
Front lower splitter horns are bolt on and made of aluminum
Chassis was sand blasted and all glue and puddy removed
Modified front end bracing for stiffness and ease of engine removal
Modified rear bracing for stiffer chassis
All chassis pick up points and shock points relocated for lowering chassis and improved geometry and lower car
Stock ride height of a comp coupe is 3.5" front 4.25" rear
GT2 ride height of our comp coupe is 2.5" front 3" rear
Relocated motor mounts to lower engine and move rearward 2" down 2" to the rear
Raised diff 1" for better alignment for axles
Fresh paint red
Heat shield fire wall and transmission tunnel
Heat shield foot box and side frame from headers
Modified rear lower a arms took ball joint out of hub and installed mono ball bearing in a arm to raise rear roll center and help with the lowering of car
Howe precision ball joints in all other a arms with different pin heights to help with geometry
Custom made sway bars front and rear both are adjustable from outside of car
Body and interior modifications
Floor mounted pedal ass. Tilton with brake bias adjuster Tilton masters 3/4 front 13/16 rear 5/8 clutch
